2014 NSSF SHOT Show® Space Selection
Once again there will be no space draw occurring the day before the SHOT Show begins. The vast majority of companies were happy they did not have to plan their booth setup around their appointment for space selection during the 2012 SHOT Show.
For more than a year the SHOT Show blog has talked about re-purposing the Show, making sure only "core" products to our industry are on display. Many companies who exhibited in 2012 are not back because of non-core product lines. Moving forward we will continue to monitor product lines of prospective companies as well as current exhibitors to be sure the Show is representing only those products our buyers tell us they want to see. While our wait list to participate in the Show remains long, the above action has enabled us to bring in 100+ new exhibitors in 2013, 200+ new since 2012 keeping our Show strong with the latest product innovations.
Great strides have been made by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, owners of the Show and Reed Exhibitions, manager of the Show to bring the best possible event to exhibitors and buyers alike. Post Show surveys confirmed what was widely perceived, the 2012 event will go down as one of the best Shows in memory. We have not stopped and believe you will notice further enhancements for the 2013 Show to include the Sands complete remodel of the lobby areas on both level 1 and level 2.
For 2014, your booth space will remain the same as 2013. You will not be allowed to increase your booth size during the renewal process. During the 2013 Show (January 15-18) you will have an appointment to visit our NEW Sales Office, Sands Meeting Room 203 located off of the level 1 lobby and near the Show and NSSF Office. Your appointment will be brief and is a matter of signing your 2014 application and contract (pre-printed copies on-site) and making your 25% deposit. Company checks or credit cards are the only forms of payment accepted. Companies may request to reduce their booth size during this process and every effort will be made to maintain the same location as long as all criteria is met regarding corner locations:
Corners are a 10x20 minimum
Peninsulas are a 20x20 minimum
Island space reduced will become a peninsula
Pricing for 2014 is:
$29 per square foot, 10x10 would be $2900. ($24 per sf for voting members)
$450 per corner (minimum 10x20 corner and 20x20 peninsula)

We want to make this process as easy as possible on you so Monday, January 14, 2013, is an open date for your booth renewal. Please feel free to visit the Sales office during your booth setup. The last day of the Show, Friday. January 18, is also open for your convenience. Do not miss your opportunity to renew your 2014 SHOT Show booth space.
Please note failure to sign your application and make your deposit by the close of the Show will result in immediate loss of your booth reservation and participation in the 2014 SHOT Show.
During the spring we anticipate providing you an opportunity to request an upgrade in space or relocation. We cannot assure an upgrade or move as the Show remains sold out.
