The SHOT Show respects the information provided by our customers. Because we gather certain types of information when our customers communicate with us, we believe you should fully understand the terms and conditions surrounding the information we capture and the use of that information. This privacy statement discloses the type of information we capture about our customers, how we use it to communicate with our customers, and how you can request to no longer receive communications from SHOT Show.
SHOT Show is owned and sponsored by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) and is produced and managed by Reed Exhibitions United States (Reed-US), a division of Reed Elsevier, Inc. Information supplied by SHOT Show customers is collected and managed by Reed-US and subject to NSSF's proprietary rights. This privacy policy applies to the NSSF and Reed-US and conforms to the spirit of the respective Privacy Policies of each of these organizations, which can be found at www.nssf.org and www.reedexpo.com.
Our Customers
This policy applies to all customers of SHOT Show, including, without limitation, our show exhibitors, show visitors, customer inquiries speakers, press, and other individuals with whom NSSF or Reed-US maintain business relationships or communications concerning SHOT Show.
Customer Information and Use
Two primary types of information are gathered about our customers:
Financial Information is payment information used for or gathered during the registration process and includes, without limitation, credit card numbers, financial institutions, and expiration dates. This information is not used for any purpose other than that for which it is being provided to us, and is used only to the extent necessary for processing the transaction or to facilitate future transactions.
Professional Information includes, without limitation, name, address, company name, company address, phone number, fax number, and email address, as well as questions answered on survey or registration forms, and entries in SHOT Show promotions. Data captured during a customer's visit to the SHOT Show website, or through any other contact between SHOT Show and a customer is also considered professional information and may also be stored in our customer database for internal use by Reed-US and/or NSSF. Professional information may be shared with other organizations or SHOT Show customers for the purpose of facilitating business relationships believed by SHOT Show to be in our customers' best interests or which may be of interest to our customers. Professional information may also be released by SHOT Show to comply with the law, or judicial or government inquiry, or to enable SHOT the Show to protect its legal rights.
Opting Out of Electronic Communications
If you would like to opt out of electronic communications you are receiving on behalf of the SHOT Show, please follow the unsubscribe instructions found in the individual communications you may receive from the show. To opt out of electronic communications from third parties, please follow their unsubscribe instructions found in their respective communications. There are certain communications that SHOT Show may continue to send if you are a current customer.
Security
This site utilizes a secure server to protect your financial and professional information. Secure server software is used to encrypt the information sent between your Internet browser and our Internet site. This ensures the security of your professional and financial transaction details when using the site. We follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information you have given to us and may, on occasion, request proof of identity before we disclose any professional information to you.

The SHOT Show website uses temporary, session-specific cookies to ensure visits to its websites are smooth and customized for the visitor.
