With last year’s official evolution of SHOT Show into SHOT Week and more events than ever before taking place, NSSF has restructured its annual State of the Industry Dinner to the State of the Industry Reception. We understand that our more than 64,000 SHOT Show attendees are pulled in many directions and that show days and evenings are long for everyone. In consideration of this, we’re now providing an event that is shorter in duration, while providing both a report on our industry’s well-being and a more personal networking opportunity.
This year’s State of the Industry Reception will take place the evening of Jan. 23, the first night of the show, at the Palazzo Theater. The reception will begin with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m., followed immediately by the State of the Industry address delivered by NSSF President and CEO Steve Sanetti and NSSF Board Chairman Bob Scott. The event will conclude at 7 p.m.
Tickets for this special event are on sale now. Both NSSF Members and non-members may attend for $40, in celebration of SHOT Show’s 40th Anniversary. Seating is limited to 550, and early sales have already claimed 50-percent of the available reservations. To reserve your seat at the all-new State of the Industry Reception, simply add it to your SHOT Show registration at shotshow.org.
Jeff Foxworthy Celebrates SHOT Show at the Venetian
We know many of you have attended the State of the Industry Dinner in the past not just for the important industry update, but because there has always been great entertainment that evening. Though the new, condensed State of the Industry Reception doesn’t accommodate that, our SHOT Show Headquarters Hotel, The Venetian, is making sure you’ll get plenty of laughs by hosting two nights of entertainment with comedian Jeff Foxworthy. Jeff is one of SHOT Show’s favorite guests, and we’re pleased he’ll be celebrating SHOT Show’s 40th Anniversary with us. Jeff takes to the stage of the Venetian Theater Jan. 24 and 25 at 8 p.m., and his always fresh material is guaranteed to provide a memorable evening for all.
