NSSF/HAVA Golf Classic

It is with great pleasure that I share the news that SIG SAUER has agreed to join the growing list of sponsors for the 3rd Annual NSSF/HAVA Golf Classic at the Bronze level. Headquartered in Newington, New Hampshire, SIG SAUER is a maker of premium rifles, handguns, airguns, optics, suppressors, ammunition and accessories.

“SIG SAUER is honored to be a big part of HAVA’s mission to serve our country’s disabled veterans and wounded active duty military, said Tom Taylor, SIG SAUER’s Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President, Commercial Sales. “We are proud to be a sustaining sponsor of the organization and wanted to be part of this NSSF/HAVA Golf outing. It gives us a chance to support this outstanding cause and to get together for some fun with like-minded industry companies and friends.”

The NSSF/HAVA Golf Classic, now in its third year, raises money to support disabled veterans with their healing process through guided hunts, target shooting events and other outdoor sports activities. HAVA is Honored American Veterans Afield, a 501(c)(3) organization formed by companies in the shooting and outdoor industry. Additional sponsorship opportunities are available for this important event, and interested industry members are encouraged to visit the event’s web page and contribute to this worthy cause.

The 2017 3rd Annual NSSF/HAVA Golf Classic will be held Sunday, January 15, two days before the opening of the 2017 SHOT Show. Bear’s Best Country Club on Flamingo Road in Las Vegas will be the host course for the event, which kicks off with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Registration is now open for individuals and four-member firearms industry teams. Individual entries are $200, while four-person team entries are $600. All entries include transportation to and from the outing, golf cart rental, course fees, course balls, breakfast, lunch and participant gifts. Prizes will be awarded for high team and individuals at the event’s conclusion. For more information and to register for this important event, click here.
