Welcome to the latest SHOT Blast, written by the SHOT Show team at NSSF and our show partners to keep you informed on all things SHOT Show.
All New Animated Floor Tour
The 2022 SHOT Show is filled with all new opportunities, and with names like eXtra, Great Outdoors, SHOT Shortcut and more, we thought we’d show some of the new experiences waiting this January. Take a tour of key highlights for this year’s show with our animated new floor tour. You’ll see the new layouts for this year’s show along with details for each new highlight. It’s a great first step in planning how you want to navigate more than 2,000 exhibits at the largest ever industry collection of manufacturers and distributors in the shooting sports, hunting, outdoor, law enforcement and armed forces industries.
SHOT Show Fact Check: Qualifying to Attend
We receive a lot of questions about the qualification process during registration, so here is the scoop:
Since SHOT Show is a business-to-business (B2B) trade event and the manufacturers and service providers on display are here to meet potential retailers, ranges, law enforcement and armed forces agencies, we use this process to ensure the attendees they will meet are part of the industry instead of the end-user. Qualification is really two quick steps: 1. Making sure your company is in the industry, and 2. making sure you work for that company. Documents can be uploaded during the registration process. More details can be viewed here.
If NSSF asks for documentation again even if you've attended before, it's simply a random spot check, just making sure nothing has changed in your business.

The evening before the show opens, on Monday, January 17, 5:30–7:00 PM, meet with other law enforcement agencies, education speakers and leading manufacturers at the networking event designed to give you time to build connections, ask questions and share experiences. For 2022, attendance will be limited to promote social distancing. Register now to lock in your spot!

Manufacturers take note: SHOT Week Supplier Showcase, open for Monday and Tuesday only, January 17–18, now has more than 500 suppliers scheduled to be on display. This showcase is a must-see for anyone who uses or produces tools, machinery, plastics, metal extrusions, fabrics, OE materials, fabrication, logistics, software or other products and services for the shooting, hunting, outdoor and law enforcement industries.
Badge Pickup Reminder
The SHOT Show is no longer mailing attendee or media badges. A wide range of locations will make picking up your badge easy and convenient once you arrive in Las Vegas. Simply click here to find the badge pickup location that works best for you. To help cut down on amount of people in lines, we encourage registering online instead of onsite.
