Sands Expo to Become The Venetian Expo on Sept. 2
The Sands Expo Center, home to the SHOT Show, is getting a name change on September 2. The new name will be The Venetian Expo. The Venetian Congress Center, where the SHOT Show’s meeting rooms and ballrooms are located, will be renamed as The Venetian Convention Center. We look forward to welcoming everyone to The Venetian Expo and Convention Centers, and the adjacent Caesars Forum, in January for our biggest and best SHOT Show yet. Las Vegas Events Moving Forward Successfully and Safely
Despite a recent rise in Las Vegas’s COVID positivity rate, the city and our trade-show industry partners remain committed to moving forward with all events at full capacity. The Venetian Expo and Convention Center, home of the SHOT Show, has been in constant communication with us with assurance that the lessons we’ve learned over the past 16 months have helped live events return successfully and safely. As The Venetian’s Chandra Allison said, “After a year of virtual business meetings resulting from the pandemic, it is clear that no real substitute exists for face-to-face meetings and events. This is where deals are struck, relationships are forged, and brainstorming is at its best. Recent polls have shown them to be ‘irreplaceable,’ and they have finally begun to return, now that the science proves they can be held safely.” The Venetian’s current safety procedures and guidelines can be viewed here.
Supplier Showcase Floorplan Nearing Capacity
If you are a supplier to the shooting, hunting, and outdoor industry, you will definitely want to participate in the SHOT Week Supplier Showcase. The Supplier Showcase is a two-day event that takes place the day before the SHOT Show and on the opening day of the show (January 17-18, 2022). SHOT Show exhibiting manufacturers visit the Supplier Showcase to find new products and services from the 500 suppliers who participate.

With Show’s Expansion, More Hotels Offer an Easy Commute Each Day
With the SHOT Show’s expansion to Caesars Forum, there are more hotel rooms in close proximity to the show than ever before. The LINQ and Harrah’s are steps away from the new Caesars Forum, and those who have stayed at The Venetian and Palazzo hotels can attest how convenient those two hotels are in getting back and forth to your room during the week. We encourage all our exhibitors and attendees to book their rooms as soon as possible, as room blocks are filling fast at a number of hotels. SHOT Show room blocks are available for booking through the SHOT Show website, and please remember that the only official SHOT Show housing providers are onPeak and The Venetian/Palazzo.
