Can I use a camera to take pictures of badges?
No, you must purchase the app or equipment from Maritz in order to get the information of your visitors. We recommend buying lead retrieval earlier to save money, though if you get onsite and start taking pictures, you can manually add badge information to your Maritz lead retrieval purchase.
How do I activate SWAP?
Approximately 2–4 weeks prior to show opening, every exhibiting company with a SWAP lead retrieval order is issued a 16-digit activation code. If your exhibiting company places an order for SWAP during or after this time you will receive your 16-digit activation code at the time your order is placed. Your booth’s activation code, along with your individual exhibitor badge ID number (or registration confirmation number), is needed to activate the SWAP mobile application.
The activation code is sent within an e-mail titled “SWAP Activation Documents” to your booth’s primary contact or person who placed the order. This e-mail can be forwarded to the booth staff who will be using SWAP as it includes all the information needed to download and activate the SWAP mobile app.
Please note: SWAP activation codes can only be used by registered exhibit staff from the same registered exhibit company, they cannot be shared among separate companies.
If you need your activation code and instructions, please contact exhibitorservices@maritz.com or visit your Maritz lead retrieval service desk onsite.
Where do I download the SWAP mobile application to my own mobile device?
You may search your mobile device’s app store for “SWAP by Maritz” or use the camera on your mobile device to scan the respective QR code for your device below:

Reach Email Marketing by Maritz
What is a REACH list?
Reach is an email marketing offering provided by Maritz. Reach allows you to send email campaigns to all SHOT Show attendees or a targeted list of SHOT Show attendees.
Pre-show email marketing is a great way to let attendees know you will be exhibiting and where you will be located.
During the show, sending a quick email to attendees to remind them to stop by, and post-show is great to offer promotions and connect with attendees you may have missed on the show floor. The portal is not ready until after mid-November due to the majority of SHOT Show attendees registering closer to the start of SHOT Show.
How do I create my list for a targeted email send?
Demographic selections for targeted lists are available on page 3 of the order form – and range from Field of Work to Product of Interest and Purchasing Authority.
Do I get the emails of the attendees and media?
SHOT Show and Maritz do not provide an attendee list or contact list due to privacy polices. If you would like to reach out to attendees prior or during the show you may do so through a REACH email blast through Maritz. This is a blind email blast service and does not provide a list or contact information.
Is there help during the building process?
Yes, Maritz provides full-service assistance helping to ensure success in reaching out to your buyers.
How much does it cost to email the attendees and media?
The cost is as low as $375 for 1000 emails. Email Maci Loughery at maci.loughery@maritz.com for assistance and more information.
Why can I not email exhibitors?
SHOT Show does not give out exhibitors’ information due to General Data Protection Regulation.
