Before we know it, the calendar will flip to 2026 and we’ll be just days away from the SHOT Show. The next Insider will send in early January. Until then, we wish you a wonderful holiday season and Happy New Year!

Your marketing package comes with your company logo, five show specials/celebrity appearances, access to attendee matches, two press releases and 500 private messages to attendees. These tools help drive qualified traffic to your booth and put meetings on the calendar ahead of move-in. — Chris Tattulli, NSSF
Reminder: Complete EAC Paperwork to Avoid Move-In Delays
If you’re using a third-party to install or dismantle your booth, be sure they complete all required Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC) paperwork in advance. Missing items — especially Certificates of Insurance — can prevent contractor access to the show floor and cause costly delays during move-in. Stay in close contact with your EAC to ensure all documentation is submitted and approved. Contact Kathryn Rae at krae@convexx.com or (702) 216-5846 with any questions. — Kathryn Rae, ConvExx
Connect with Attendees After Hours at SHOT After Dark
SHOT After Dark events offer a great opportunity to network with fellow exhibitors and attendees in a relaxed, off-show floor setting. Each night brings together verified SHOT Show attendees, making it easy to build connections and reward your team with exclusive evenings at top Las Vegas venues. Passes can be added to staff registrations — perfect for sales teams or key personnel you’d like to recognize. — Jeff Pressman, ConvExx
Make Sure Your Team is “Media Ready” for SHOT Show
As a SHOT Show exhibitor, you and your team likely have multi-faceted goals: expand brand awareness, generate “buzz” with new products, build relationships with buyers and receive favorable coverage of your company’s products from the media. Here are some tips to make sure you and your team are “Media Ready” for SHOT Show. — Jade Moldae, NSSF
Clean Floor Policy Reminder: Plan Ahead for a Smooth Move-In
To help keep SHOT Show move-in running efficiently, all exhibitors must follow the Clean Floor Policy. Empty crates must be tagged and ready for removal within two days of your target move-in time, and all cardboard, fiber cases and access storage must be labeled and ready for pick-up by the published deadline. Items not properly labeled may be moved by Freeman at the exhibitor’s expense. Review the full policy and your specific deadlines here. — Jennifer Carr, ConvExx
Insight from Long-Time Attendee Reaffirms the SHOT Show’s Value
With the experience of literally every SHOT Show under his belt, Richard Sprague of Sprague’s Sports (Yuma, Ariz.) shares what makes the show a must-attend event for him each year — and how his return on investment is met during the opening day of SHOT. SHOT Show exhibitors are the reason why buyers like Sprague come back year after year. — Jade Moldae, NSSF
Reminder: No Retail or Over-the-Counter Sales at SHOT Show
To maintain SHOT Show’s trade-only environment, cash or over-the-counter sales are not permitted on the show floor. Exhibitors may take orders for future delivery, and wholesale transactions involving the sale of an entire booth inventory for delivery after the close of the show are allowed. Selling samples or delivering product onsite is strictly prohibited, and excess inventory beyond display purposes may be removed at the exhibitor’s expense. Violations may result in immediate removal from the show — please review the Exhibitor Rules & Regulations to ensure compliance. — Regina Clark, ConvExx
