Urgent for All Exhibitors: Update Your SHOT Show Product Categories and Company Listing
Buyer registration for the 2023 SHOT Show will be opening very soon, and all buyers will begin utilizing the Show Planner for mapping out their gameplan for the show. It is very important that exhibitors update your company listing and check that your company’s product categories are selected and accurate. This simple task will have a huge impact on prospective buyers finding you at the show. You can review and update your product categories and company description by logging into your Exhibitor Dashboard. Once logged in, click on Edit Profile, then click on the Profile tile and scroll down to review/update your Company Description and Categories. Hotels Are Filling Fast!
With SHOT Show registration just about to open in October, now is the time to book your hotel rooms if you haven’t already. The Mirage is already sold out, and rooms are filling fast around Las Vegas. We’ve put together a handy 30-second video that shows many hotel options and their proximity to the show. To make it as easy as possible to book your rooms (at discounted rates), we have SHOT Show room blocks available through the SHOT Show website. Flights Expanding to Vegas with More Affordable (and Non-Stop) Options
No airport in the United States has returned to capacity faster than Las Vegas. In fact, more flights are being added than any other airport every month and passenger counts are setting all-time records. Non-stop international service from Korea recently returned, and British Airways will soon begin regular service from Gatwick as well as Heathrow. Domestically, Breeze Airways is now offering non-stop flights from 11 cities, with promotional one-way fares as low as $29. We all know airfares are running high these days, so it’s a great time to take advantage of these new opportunities. — Chris Dolnack, NSSF
Target Times Now Available Online
We know you are asking this question, and we are doing our best to give every exhibitor as much time as they need to build their booth. However, this requires significant coordination not just with Freeman and evaluating our floorplan, but the customers using the buildings before us. This coming January is one of those years in which we get the space later than normal, due to CES (the largest annual show that overtakes Las Vegas) taking place Thursday to Sunday. They are traditionally Tuesday to Friday like us, but due to when New Year’s occurs, and their having to vacate the building before we move in, they are forced into a date pattern that is not opportune for them but also pushes us back about 24-36 hours from when we typically get in. With that being said, we are working closely with Freeman to minimize the impact of this change to our schedule and that is through numerous conversations and analysis with multiple parties. Adele will be performing on Friday, January 20, 8-10 p.m. PST at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace as part of her Weekends with Adele residency.
Opening a new Las Vegas strip restaurant during the pandemic was no easy trick, but the Di Michele family made it happen. Check out Zeppola Café, tucked away in a corner of St. Mark’s Square in The Venetian, offering “authentic Italian; recipes from the owner’s grandmother in Italy.”
