Industry ‘All In’ for SHOT Show’s Expansive Return
Get your walking shoes ready. The 2022 SHOT Show is set to be the largest, most expansive show in its four-plus-decade history—and the shooting, hunting and outdoor industry is clearly all in and overwhelmingly ready to return to live, in-person events.
For the past three weeks, our sales team has been working around the clock in Las Vegas helping SHOT Show exhibitors select their booth locations at the Sands Expo and Caesars Forum convention centers.
As of today, the show stands at over 800,000 net square feet. To put it into perspective, the largest SHOT Show ever was 714,000 net square feet, when the 2008 show was held at the Las Vegas Convention Center and outdoor tents needed to be added to fill overflow exhibit space. You can view the exhibit floor here.
And it isn’t just our industry that’s ready to get back together. Las Vegas is more ready than ever before to welcome us back. With exciting new hotels like Resorts World and Circa, the newly opened Allegiant Stadium, and truly awesome new attractions like Area 15, SHOT attendees will have plenty to catch up on—both at the show and after show hours.

Suppliers Are Now Picking Spaces for Supplier Showcase
With the exhibit halls being completely filled downstairs for the upcoming SHOT Show, the material suppliers and service providers are now getting in on the action. Over 400 companies have already committed to the show this January and are now taking place in their own space selection. You can view the floorplan building here. If you are interested in getting your own space and have yet to apply, you can visit shotshow.org/supplier-showcase. — Jeff Pressman, ConvExx
Payment Deadline for Booth Space is on the Horizon
Now that you have picked your booths for the 2022 SHOT Show, and know the precise cost for your space, invoices are being sent out this week so each exhibitor can meet the June 4 deadline for 50 percent of booth fees due. For most exhibitors, the rollover credit from the cancelled 2021 SHOT Show will cover the amount due, with just a small amount remaining due to the price increase this year. If it is a nominal amount, you can wait until the final installment due date of August 5 to pay that amount. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and continued support of the SHOT Show. — Mike Clark, ConvExx
