NSSF SHOT University - CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS 2026

Submit Your Presentation By August 4

NSSF® SHOT UniversityTM has issued a call for presentations for its educational sessions at the 2026 SHOT Show®. SHOT University will take place January 20-23, 2026, at the NSSF SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

SHOT University

SHOT University is the highly regarded offering of educational sessions that share models of success with the goal of elevating industry professionalism and success across many business types. SHOT University attracts decision-makers primarily from firearm industry retailer and shooting range businesses, with professionals from the conservation community, manufacturers, suppliers and trade media also attending.

Presentation Details

Proposed presentations must meet the one-hour per session timeframe and should include at least 15 minutes of dedicated time for questions and answers from the audience.

Presentation proposals that are interactive in nature and include handouts (such as course booklets and/or whitepapers) are strongly encouraged.

Presentation submissions are due by August 4, 2025. All submissions received after this date will not be considered.

Presenters will be notified of acceptance via email by August 11, 2025. Presentations selected are at the sole discretion of the NSSF.

  • Revenue Stream Diversification” (i.e., adding training, NFA Sales, Archery Sales, etc.)

  • Staff Training (areas to consider covering include hiring, onboarding, ongoing product training, selling tactics, customer service, merchandising 101)
  • Diversifying Your Customer Base
  • Legislative and Regulatory Challenges
  • Indoor and Outdoor Shooting Range Operations
  • OSHA and or EPA Compliance for Shooting Ranges
  • Membership Campaigns (recruitment, retention, program management)
  • Increasing Customer Engagement
  • Engaging with Your Community
  • Digital Marketing
  • Social Media
  • Retail and Customer Experience Design

Your proposal should include a summary of the proposed presentation including outline and takeaways, a brief overview of the presenter’s qualifications in bio form, and any referrals and information about recent speaking engagements and be sent to education@nssf.org no later than the deadline of August 4, 2025.
