Up, Up and Upward

The SHOT Show continues and hordes of attendees—and exhibitors—are walking aisles to look at firearms, ammunition, knives, optics, footwear, safety vests, bows, and nearly anything you can imagine related to shooting, hunting and the outdoors. There’s simply no place on earth like the SHOT Show and this year more retailers and exhibitors are giving upbeat reviews.

Primos Hunting's Jason Harris with the company's new turkey hunting decoy

“This SHOT Show has been really good, and we’ve had good traffic through the booth,” said Jason Harris, Primos Hunting VP of Sales. “This is the first time in a long time that everyone seems upbeat and super positive.” Harris was showcasing a turkey hunting decoy that has a real turkey image printed on fabric that is applied to 3-D foam. It’s very realistic and light. Gobblers will meet their match!

FMG's Delano Amaguin was optimistic about this year's show

Continuing the upbeat review was Delano Amaguin, Senior Sales Manager with FMG Publications. “The show this year is definitely more upbeat and positive,” said Amaguin. “There is more positive energy and more people and companies getting business done.” And another review touches important reasons to show your wares here.

Cory Martin with Tyrant Designs showing a modified pistol.

“The SHOT Show is going great for us. We are doing a lot of networking and we are here to make deals,” reported first-time attendee Cory Martin, Operations Manager for Tyrant Designs. “It is fantastic to see solidarity in the industry and have them all here under one roof.” Martin was showcasing a 2-piece compensator for pistols with threaded barrels.

More proof of getting business completed was show visitor John Pena with Camarillo Gun Store in California. “This show requires a lot of walking and talking but you get to see a lot of fun stuff,” said Pena.

Erika Shrout showing a Guard Dog Security bulletproof backpack

Another exhibitor, Guard Dog Security, was offering five models of bulletproof backpacks. Company rep Erika Shrout gave another upbeat review. “This show is massive, and everyone here has been very nice,” stated Shrout.

Alyssa Gremaud showcasing Eukanuba dog food and sponsored the recharging stations.

If you have been at the show, you have seen the Eukanuba charging stations and banners. Company rep Alyssa Gremaud was at the show for her first time and was showing a wide range of Eukanuba dog foods. “This show is a great event,” noted Gremaud. “It’s a massive show and a little overwhelming with so much stuff here to see.” Another major exhibitor is also giving top reviews.

“Traffic has been good, and this show has provided really good engagement with our customers,” said Anna Readon with Beretta. Large numbers of booth visitors there were looking at long-range rifles, shotguns, clothing, hunting gear and the company’s new 92X pistol.

SHOT Show 2020 will be remembered as an upbeat business environment.
