In this exclusive Q&A from the SHOT Show, we had the opportunity to speak with SilencerCo Vice President of Marketing, Mike Aland. He shared insights on what's new and exciting for the company, highlighted why attending the SHOT Show is essential and gave us a glimpse of what to expect from them in 2025.

What's new and exciting at SilencerCo?
We're really excited we have a number of new products in the centerfire pistol and centerfire rifle Space. It's going to be a fantastic show for us.
We're launching a new member of the Scythe-Ti family called the Scythe STM. It's a stainless modular version of our Scythe. So, in the short configuration, it's a little bit shorter than the Ti and in the long configuration, it's a couple of baffles longer. Full-auto rated, no barrel restrictions. It's a pretty awesome can.
In centerfire pistol, we have our brand new silencer, which is going to be one that you definitely want to check out, the SilencerCo S98. It's a fully titanium pistol can. It has that eccentric shape similar to our Osprey line of cans, but it's fully welded and, again, all titanium. So it weighs nothing and it sounds absolutely fantastic.
Another line extension to a product that we released in 2024 is the Spectre 9. The Spectre has been an awesome seller for us, it's done extremely well at retail, it's a titanium pistol can, you can put it on your sub gun as well. We made a smaller version for military and Law Enforcement that we're going to release to the public in 2025.
Rounding out our new product offering, we're also going to offer a shoot through can that mimics the Velos 556k. We're also releasing a shoot through can for UTM, training scenarios and for people living in places where you can't own silencers but still want that look.
What will we see from SilencerCo in 2025?
We have a couple of other new products in the pipeline that we're going to show at SHOT Show and will be shipping in 2025. We are introducing what we're calling the S98. It is a full titanium pistol silencer, fully welded, eccentric shape, so you have more volume, so you have a very quiet can, but also with a fully welded, little to no first-round pop. It Looks similar to our famous Osprey line of silencers, but making no mistake, it's a very different can. A lot more technology has gone into building this.
What can people expect to see at your SHOT Show booth?
In 2024, we introduced a brand new booth for Silencer Co., which has a much bigger print than we've had in the past. We'll have the same booth again in 2025 with updated imagery with all our new products. We had a pretty wild 2024. We filmed all over the United States in really cool locations and the imagery and the booth will represent that.
