The transition of export controls from State Dept. to Commerce Dept. are close to being published at last! NSSF is offering special training sessions during the 2020 SHOT Show to help U.S. manufacturers and retailers better understand changing regulations for export operations. Get first-hand guidance on properly exporting your goods and be ready to ask your most challenging questions.
The NSSF export training presentation will help attendees learn about the transition of firearms, ammunition, and accessories from control under DDTC to BIS. This comprehensive training session will include information about the EAR and how the new regulations need to be implemented in your company’s export business. Industry export expert Kim Pritula of KMP Global Consulting will be presenting detailed information on how the new EAR rules will control firearms, ammunition, optics, and accessories, BIS licensing and information from the Office of Export Enforcement (OEE) which is the enforcement arm of BIS.
This important training is critical for exporters to learn and understand. BIS licensing and policy staff will be presenting and will be on hand to answer questions after the training.
