Due to factors beyond our control, the costs associated with putting on a trade show of SHOT’s magnitude have increased (as have the costs of doing most things these days). Also, as you may know, revenue generated from the SHOT Show directly supports all that NSSF does as your industry’s trade association—from advocating on behalf of the industry in Washington, D.C. and in state capitals nationwide to providing compliance education, industry research, firearm safety programs and so much more. Additionally, NSSF’s #GUNVOTE effort needs more funding than ever before to ensure a bright future for our industry.

View attendance requirements

The SHOT Show is a trade only event. Attendance is RESTRICTED to the shooting, hunting and outdoor trade and commercial buyers and sellers of military, law enforcement and tactical products and services ONLY. The show is not open to the public, and NO one under age 16 shall be admitted (including infants).

View attendance requirements

The SHOT Show requires individual unique email addresses for attendees, exhibiting personnel and media.

The reasons for this are:

  • Using a unique email address will allow each SHOT Show badge holder to utilize and customize the online show planner and the show's mobile app.
  • All attendees will be able to receive timely SHOT Show information and communications.
  • Finally, the use of unique email addresses will help us in identifying non-qualified attendees.

With your help, we can ensure that all exhibitors and attendees receive all the information they need, are able to utilize the show planner to its fullest and help us in our continued efforts to ensure the SHOT Show remains a trade-only event with qualified attendees and exhibiting personnel.

Yes, if you have a company NSSF membership and are an employee of that company you can register using your company ID. While your company membership does discount your registration, you will still be required to show admission qualifications.

NO one under the age of 16 admitted (including infants). This policy applies to all show attendees including attendees, exhibitors and media. Daycare is not provided.

Anyone can bring a spouse. The spouse can be registered during the registration process or you can log back into your dashboard and click on ADD SPOUSE.

Unfortunately, no. Show policy requires that proper identification be provided to be approved for attendance to the SHOT Show. Documentation is used to demonstrate that both the company and the individual trying to register is currently active in the shooting, hunting and outdoor trade industries, or has a commercial involvement in the military, law enforcement or tactical markets.

We do not mail badges. All badges will be picked up onsite at one of our onsite pickup locations. There are locations throughout the city as well as 24-hour registration at the Venetian Resort.

Each registrant must pick up their own badge. No one will be able to pick up another person's badge.

Your badge is your credential to attend the SHOT Show. In order to remove any possibility for badge duplication, we must follow this policy. It is in everyone's best interest to limit attendees to only one badge. You will be charged a $200 replacement fee to replace a lost or stolen badge.

NO personal firearms or ammunition allowed. Only firearms on display by exhibitors whose firing pins have been removed (and have been inspected by SHOT Show Safety Advisors) will be permitted in the venue.

Please go to the Hotels page on the show website to find our discounted room rates. While you can reserve a room through our official show website, please understand that reserving a room does not entitle you to be approved for registration to the show and SHOT Show is not liable or responsible for any cancellation fees incurred by you for travel to the show should your registration not be approved.

If your application to attend the show was declined, it may be because you did not provide the documentation required or it was determined that you do not demonstrate the required professional affiliation. View a list of acceptable forms of documentation. This list provides details of ways in which you can demonstrate eligibility to attend.

If you wish to appeal, please email a request to regmgr@shotshow.org with supporting documentation showing your professional affiliation. Please contact customer service at (855) 355-7468 U.S. or (203) 270-2370 International if you need any additional information. Please note, NSSF reserves the right to deny registration to any company or individual. Your attempt to register is an application to attend, not a confirmation that you are approved.

NO animals except for properly identified on-duty ADA recognized service animals. Service animals may not be adorned by branding for marketing purposes.

First and foremost, being located on The Strip, many SHOT Show attendees will be within a 10-minute walk of the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum. In addition, we'll have shuttle buses running from partner hotels, the monorail, and UBER and LYFT are now available in Las Vegas as another option.

As is now found throughout Las Vegas and in major cities all around the country, paid parking is prevalent at just about all resorts in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, SHOT Show does not validate parking at the Venetian Resort or at Caesars properties like LINQ or Harrahs. However, please know that local residents of Las Vegas do get up to 3 hours free at the Venetian Resort when presenting their local identification at the parking kiosks.

When you register online, you will be given the option to ADD ANOTHER or FINISH REGISTRATION at the end of the registration process. Click on ADD ANOTHER and repeat the registration process for the new registrant. When you are finished entering registrations, click on FINISH REGISTRATION to continue to the payment page and complete your session.

No. Show badges constitute a limited, revocable license to the named badge holder to attend the current SHOT Show. Badges cannot be reproduced, sold, shared or otherwise transferred to another person. Show badges are the property of the Show and may be revoked at any time for any reason.

Yes, scooters and wheelchairs are available through Scootaround at the Venetian Expo level 1 lobby on the backside of the Business Center next to the coat check.

Scooters are $75/day and wheelchairs are $25/day. For multiple day pricing, call Scootaround at (888) 441-7575. We strongly suggest making reservations in advance by calling or visiting the website.

Outboarding is when any company that is eligible to exhibit, yet is not exhibiting at the SHOT Show, hosts an event anywhere in the city that attracts SHOT Show buyers. The SHOT Show considers outboarding a serious offense and akin to theft as it is essentially taking away from the investment made by exhibitors. Therefore, the SHOT Show immediately takes away credentials for the current show and likewise bans the offending individual and company from participation or attendance at future SHOT Shows.

If you hear of or see an outboarding event while you are onsite, please contact the Show Management Office, (702) 691-8508 or tell your floor manager. To contact Show Management in advance or after the show, please call (855) 355-7468 or email regmgr@shotshow.org.

Suitcasing is when any non-exhibitor tries to sell their products to attendees or other exhibitors at the show. This includes having meetings, providing merchandise, samples, catalogs or any other materials. This is not permitted at the show. The SHOT Show considers suitcasing a serious offense and akin to theft as it is essentially taking away from the investment made by exhibitors. Therefore, the SHOT Show immediately takes away credentials for the current show and likewise bans the offending individual and company from participation or attendance at future SHOT Shows.
