Log In to Your Registration Dashboard for Registering Your Booth Staff
A full rundown of everything you need to know about your staff registration was sent to you on October 24, if you want to look at past emails. This included who qualifies for exhibitor badges, what categories to register them as, and an increase in fees for badges exceeding your allotment. There is a separate dashboard for registering your staff, which you can find at shotshow.org/exhibitor and clicking on “REGISTRATION.” Your Exhibitor Registration Dashboard is the first screen you see when you sign in. Las Vegas Vies for ‘Foodie Capital’ of North America
Las Vegas is widely regarded as the most exciting city in North America. The glitter, glitz and neon of the continent’s entertainment and gaming capital has overshadowed another title that the city is vying for—Foodie Capital.
Since the post-covid return to business and leisure travel, several acclaimed restaurants have opened in Las Vegas, taking the place of those that were victims of the pandemic shutdown. Here’s a great rundown of some of these top eateries that you might consider for customer entertainment during SHOT Week. — Chris Dolnack, NSSF
Schedule Your Sourcing & Engineering Teams to Attend Supplier Showcase
Rather than spending weeks or months researching, contacting and vetting potential suppliers, your team can discover hundreds that are specific to the shooting, hunting and outdoor industry in just a few focused days. This is your time to compare offerings, evaluate materials firsthand and streamline your procurement process to get new products out the door even quicker.
Engage with over 600 suppliers face-to-face, ask in-depth questions and explore ways to collaborate. Shipping Display Firearms to the Show?
One of the most frequently asked questions is simply, “How do I ship my display firearms to the show?” There’s a form for that! As we all know, a key component to the safety and security of our show and the entire industry is the proper handling and transportation of firearms. Please review this form and abide by the procedures listed for the safe shipping of your display firearms, but also the proper storage of those firearms while in Las Vegas. — Jennifer Carr, ConvExx
Hiring a Third Party to Assist with your Booth? Be Sure to Have Them Complete the EAC Agreement & Application
Every Exhibitor-Appointed Contractor (EAC) working at the SHOT Show is required to complete the Agreement & Application, as well as submit appropriate documentation and proof of insurance. Whether they are working at Caesars Forum or The Venetian Expo, be sure they review the appropriate forms and submit before the deadlines. Communications will be sent out to them as we approach show time, and it is important they are in our database and have everything approved in advance or else there may be delays onsite. Save money and avoid delays by having them do it now. — Jennifer Carr, ConvExx
Protect Your Property at the Show with Exhibitor Insurance
Per the license rules for exhibiting (section 20), it is the exhibitor’s responsibility to obtain at its cost sufficient insurance coverage for its exhibition activities, including coverage for its property and its employees, guests, agents, contractors and other authorized. You are strongly advised to verify that your insurance includes extraterritorial coverage, and that it has its own theft, public liability, and property damage insurance. Once you have confirmed your own coverage, you are more than welcome to send to the certificate to me at krae@convexx.com, or bring a copy with you in case it is needed. Taking a photo of it to have on their phone is an easy way to have it handy. Here is a sample COI. The SHOT Show has also partnered with Rainprotection to offer insurance to cover the duration of the show if your own provider does not cover such activities, for pricing less than $200. — Kathryn Rae, ConvExx
