In this SHOT Show Q&A, we had the opportunity to speak with Jahred Gamez from SDS Arms to discuss their wide variety of new products and their plans for SHOT Show 2025.

What is SDS Arms?
SDS Arms is primarily an importer of firearms, but over the last couple of years, we've branched out. We're lending more of our U.S. manufacturing and engineering expertise to our global manufacturing partners to bring the products more in line with what the U.S. consumer wants. Our distribution and dealer network makes it extremely easy for customers around the U.S. to get our products in their hands.
What's new and exciting at SDS Arms?
In 2024, we entered into the double stack 1911 market and with 2025, we are doubling down on that. We're revamping the entire product line as well as lowering prices with Tisas and Military Armament Corporation.
Now, for all of our outdoorsmen who are hunting or maybe doing trap and skeet shooting, we're really putting a lot of effort into our Spandau line of shotguns with several new offerings and a lot of popular camouflage patterns for 2025, as well as new guns and new calibers. So, we give more outdoorsmen the versatility they need when picking the right shotgun for the sport or season.
Military Armament Corporation is also expanding into bolt-action rifles as well as some other pistol-caliber carbines for 2025.
Tokarev USA is dropping prices across the board, so we save U.S. consumers a little bit of money while introducing an exciting array of new shotguns here at SHOT Show.
What does SDS Arms have in store for 2025?
I think 2025 will to bring a lot of new things. With our double stack 1911 product line, we really took a lot of the feedback that consumers gave us over the products last year, feature sets, compatibility with more robust optic plating systems on our Mac line of guns.
I think the most important highlight is that we were able to streamline our manufacturing processes to bring things out this year at a lower price point without sacrificing quality. We get it, everyone's struggling with their finances and we don't want to be a burden in that way. We want you guys to get our firearms that you can afford and enjoy all year long.
Tell us about your SHOT Show booth and what we can expect to see
I think the SHOT Show is always a great time for us. Being the digital marketing manager, I don't spend as much time engaging with the consumer. So when you guys come to the booth, you're going to see a really fun and welcoming environment. All of the new products will be on display. We may even have a few sneak peeks we'll launch here as the week goes. Stop by the booth. We're going to be doing some giveaways.
We've expanded the booth a little bit. So, Inglis will now have its own presentation area in the booth. It's a better layout, so you guys can get in there, get your hands on the products and ask me all those questions you've been waiting for all year about our new products at the booth. This year, we're in the Caesars Forum. We're excited about that as well. We will be at booth #72246 for the week and you can find us at range day and maybe at a few of those after-evening events.
What are you most looking forward to at SHOT Show?
For me, it's always the people, like I said, it's a gathering annually where you get to see people that you haven't seen all year. Whether it is your friends in the industry or maybe your favorite gun writers, there are those few celebrities who will be walking around, so I enjoy trying to find those types of people and say hello, maybe get that selfie with them.
First and foremost, it's the people that support our brand. Those people coming up to the booth or finding us in the airport, hotels or even at the after-parties to tell us how much they enjoy the products. That's the highlight for me. Maybe the food, too.
I'm looking forward to having some great dinners with some great industry folks this week as well.
