Your Exhibitor Resource Center
The online Exhibitor Resource Center is the location where you will find all the information you need for your presence at the SHOT Show. Whether it be links to the items and services you need to order, the schedule for which you need to follow, or simply answers to the most frequently asked questions, it’s all there. If you are just beginning to design your booth and the elements you want to include, please pay attention to the Display & Height Regulations (Caesars Forum or Venetian Expo), as there are specific rules based on the size and location of your booth. Save on costs and significant headaches by knowing the rules for your specific booth before you get too far down the planning path. — Jennifer Carr, ConvExx
New Entertainment Destination: Atomic Golf Las Vegas
For exhibitors looking for a new customer entertainment venue, Atomic Golf Las Vegas opened earlier this year near the Strat Hotel, Casino & SkyPod. In addition to its four floors with 103 golfing bays, six bars, and food-and-beverage options, the venue is now hosting the city’s first drone show, with 200 to 1,000 drones lighting up the sky with iconic Las Vegas designs. — Chris Dolnack, NSSF
Know What a Target Time Is and When Your Booth Is Scheduled
One of the most visited forms on the Exhibitor Resource Center is the Target Times for each specific booth. This is necessary to know as it is the first time in which your booth is eligible to have freight brought in, if your freight is arriving onsite, or when your freight will be delivered to your booth if it is shipped in advance. Not all exhibit halls are available at the same time, so it is vital you know your target time when planning for your labor and hotel room requirements. The Caesars Forum target times are still being finalized now, but you can find the Venetian Expo target times here: Venetian Level 1 | Venetian Level 2 — Jennifer Carr, ConvExx
Book Your Hotel Rooms Now
We say it every year, that it is important to book your rooms early, and every year without fail we are contacted by exhibitors pleading for assistance because they missed the opportunity for discounted rooms at their favorite hotels. Be sure not to be one of those. Please know that hotel availability has changed since last January, with the closures of the Tropicana and Mirage, and some hotels have changed names, like Bally’s is now called Horseshoe Las Vegas. Check out all the hotels available by going to shotshow.org/hotel-and-travel and choose either the link to the Venetian|Palazzo or all other official hotels through our housing partner at onPeak. — Melissa Schilling, NSSF
Take Advantage of the New Product Center
Don’t miss your chance to showcase your latest products in the No. 1 destination for buyers each and every year. You can find all the information here, including how to purchase, pricing, and what to expect onsite. If you are a new exhibitor, you receive a free New Product Center entry as part of your package. Be sure to take advantage of that invaluable opportunity. Also, be sure to upload your product information in your Exhibitor Dashboard so potential buyers can see them on your profile throughout the year. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me at cbriare@shotshow.org — Chris Briare, ConvExx
Request Your Meeting Rooms Now
If you need a separate meeting room outside your booth, there are rooms available in a variety of sizes, but inventory is limited at both the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum. Meeting rooms are available on a first-come, first served basis. Full-day or half-day times are available, with half days being 7 a.m. to noon or 12:30 to 6 p.m. Evening rentals are available for receptions. Questions regarding availability and size can be sent to nbrown@shotshow.org or by contacting Nick Brown at 702-216-5843. Or simply click here to submit your request. — Chris Tatulli, NSSF
