The IBP is a joint effort between the U.S. government and industry to bring thousands of international buyers to the United States for business-to-business matchmaking with U.S. firms exhibiting at major industry trade shows. An integral component of the SHOT Show, the IBP serves as a value-added service to both international buyers and sellers and U.S. exhibitors at the show.

Last year, more than 420 international buyers representing 28 countries participated in the SHOT Show’s IBP services, where they took part in defined networking opportunities geared to maximize import/export potential with U.S-based manufacturers.

Benefits for International Attendees

IBP’s B2B Matchmaking Program

This focused business-to-business program allows the IBP to introduce U.S. businesses to overseas delegates before and during the show. It is the perfect opportunity to share your country’s market preferences and ways to overcome common export challenges. International delegates receive a company profile of exhibitors who have registered for this service. Last year, more than 300 SHOT Show exhibitors were interested in reaching international markets.

Export Counseling

At the International Trade Center, delegates can visit and receive expert trade counseling from Department of Commerce trade specialists who help U.S.-based SHOT Show exhibitors identify the best markets for their products and introduce those companies to those international delegates seeking goods from these makers.

International Trade Center Access

Amenities to include breakfast, lunch, afternoon reception during each official show day, complimentary Wi-Fi access, conference rooms for private meetings and hostesses to assist with scheduling.

Three Education Programs

Learn more about important industry challenges and better management practices. SHOT Show University and the Retailer Seminars cater to retailer and range businesses. The Law Enforcement Education Program focuses on protection measures and tactical execution. You can select and pay for individual events based on your attendance category assigned during the application process.

More Direct International Flights

Las Vegas continues to be one of the fastest growing American markets for direct international flights. In just the past year, there has been a 12% increase in flights flying directly into Las Vegas, including from Europe, Asia and South America.

With the addition of McCarran Airport’s new terminal, T-3, Las Vegas has added more international gate capacity, a considerably larger Federal Inspection Services facility capable of accommodating as many as 2,200 passengers per hour, and increased baggage handling capabilities. McCarran was also one of the first airports in the United States to install Automated Passport Control kiosks or APCs allowing visitors arriving from approved countries a more streamlined arrival process.

All of the above, coupled with the close proximity of the airport to the world-famous Las Vegas Strip and the Sands Expo Center, makes traveling in and out of Las Vegas from international cities easier than ever.
