What’s new and exciting at your organization?
There are a lot of exciting things happening at Outdoor Sportsman Group if you look across the spectrum of all of the assets that we own and manage. Our three television networks, Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel, and World Fishing Network, continue to grow and remain strong. Our distribution team continues to find new and creative opportunities to work through the challenges of the television industry, but we're confident and excited about the partnerships that we have, and there are many that we continue to develop and look forward to continuing to grow. Our 15 special interest publications remain very strong, with tremendous feedback and continued advertisement growth. We're very happy with how our publication business has maintained a good strength in the industry.
I think one of the things that we've been most excited about over the last several years is the growth of our MyOutdoorTV. It's the app that folks can get. It's an OTT app. It's become a go-to within the industry.
What are some reasons people should go to SHOT Show?
SHOT Show is the preeminent show in our industry. It is the culmination of folks within the industry, Whether you're in shooting, hunting, fishing, the outdoors, SHOT Show is the place to be.
What are you promoting this year?
SHOT Show is one of the best times of the year for our organization and certainly for the industry. Every year, we try to up ourselves a little bit with what we're featuring in our network, interaction and promotion. We will be promoting the talent and content we produce through our television networks, magazines and MOTV, as well as the sponsors that support us.
Our booth is at the Venetian Expo level two, number 13060. We will be hosting a happy hour at our booth on Wednesday, Jan. 24, from 4 to 5:30 p.m., in partnership with Folds of Honor and Michael Waddell. We'll have free drinks and specialty giveaways, so if you're in the area, come by and see us.
