Accessories may not have the glamour of big-ticket items, but stocking a varied selection always pay off. Most won’t take up a lot of shelf space, but pound for pound, they deliver the goods at your register. Here’s a look at what’s new this year.

Alps Outdoorz
Waiting for a dove flight to start can be a painful exercise, if your seat of choice is a hard-plastic cooler. But Alps Outdoorzs, known for its line of innovative products, can take that pain away. The Browning Outfitter Chair, made under license from Browning, provides hunters with a comfortable way to sit in a dove field. Welcome features include a seat, constructed of a durable TechMesh material, that is 18 inches wide and 15 inches deep. Leg heights adjust independently to compensate for irregular terrain. Hornady
The Hornady name is synonymous with precision ammunition, and now Hornady is making it simpler and faster for reloaders to crank out their own precise handloads with the release of their High Speed 3-in-1 Case Trimmer. This new trimmer chamfers, deburrs, and trims simultaneously, which makes the reloading process more precise and efficient. Tetra Gun Care
Tetra has developed a new grease formula called Obex Prime. The idea is to offer something that meets or exceeds the specifications of NSN-grade lubricants that are already approved for use on medium-caliber weapons systems. For the sport shooter that translates into elite performance characteristics out of any gunmetal treatment.
Obex Prime Grade 1 light grease is designed to be applied very sparingly as the fluoropolymer-based lubricant protectant penetrates and coats gun parts, providing an environmental barrier from fouling that ensures minimal friction and wear while assuring the user a maximum number of rounds fired before relubrication. The Tetra difference is the super-small specially treated spherical particles of fluoropolymer that create that ball-bearing smooth surface that stands up to extreme conditions. Primos
Predator hunters know that volume matters, and the new Primos Double take electronic coyote call allows you to adjust the direction of the call thanks to independently adjustable speakers at either end of the call. With its 24-bit sound system and independent speakers hunters can customize the call setup to match the conditions. If you’re hunting in hilly terrain you can adjust the speaker to the proper angle to cover the most ground. Conversely, if you’re hunting in loud conditions such as rain or heavy wind, you can dial both speakers in one direction to maximize volume and attract the attention of distant dogs. Garmin’s original inReach Messenger satellite communicator offered anyone working or recreating in the backcountry a lifeline to the outside world. Now Garmin has released the new inReach Messenger Plus with even more SOS communication capabilities than the original device.
The new inReach Messenger Plus offers two-way group text messaging and allows up to 1,600 characters on each message. In addition to two-way text, the new Garmin offers voice messages as well as photo sharing. The interactive SOS feature allows you to exchange text, photo, and voice messages with emergency responders to help coordinate evacuation efforts or emergency care, and route sharing allows you to share your GPS location at any time. Garmin’s newest inReach is also capable of off-grid navigation and you can even check the weather—all on a device that fits in the palm of your hand. SRP: $499. Given CrossBreed’s experience and expertise in developing premium leather and Kydex holster solutions, it was only natural that the company would open a new product category for sportsmen seeking a high-quality option for their rifle-carry needs.

All three slings utilize Chicago-style screws to secure the sling swivels and to make sling length adjustments. With the two Chicago screws on the adjustment holes, it is designed to have a streamline function without the use of bulky keepers to get in the way.
