Happy New Year! We hope you have had a wonderful holiday season and are ready to race into 2025 with the SHOT Show only days away. In fact, we start moving into the show in less than two weeks!
Please Register For Your Exhibitor Badges Properly
One of the areas that show management works diligently at is providing quality attendance at the show. We spend countless hours and resources to ensure the right people are attending the SHOT Show, so you know who is at your booth. We’ve been told time and again how important this is to your success at the show. When it comes to registering individuals for the show under your company name, we ask that you be just as diligent in ensuring people coming to the show are properly registered. If you are inviting a customer to the show that should be registered as a buyer, please let us know and we will assist so they are credentialed properly. If you are inviting partners to the show that should be registered as a material supplier or a non-exhibiting manufacturer, please have those individuals register through the proper channels as it is not appropriate for those individuals to be visiting other exhibitor booths with an “exhibitor” badge themselves. There is a reason for each of the categories established under the registration system, and in large part it is to ensure your investment in the show is both protected as well as rewarded by knowing who is coming into your booth and that they are qualified individuals. We greatly appreciate your cooperation. — Melissa Schilling, NSSF
Final Email Confirmations to Your Staff Coming Soon
In anticipation of the questions you will be receiving over the coming days, please let your team know that the “Know Before You Go” confirmation emails will be sent on January 13 to the email addresses your company provided. This will include a barcode that will be needed to pick up your company’s badges when you all arrive in Las Vegas. Just a reminder that each individual will need to pick up their own badges this year and they can be printed at any number of locations around the city. Find all badge pick-up locations here. Don’t forget to also let your team know about the Happy Hours and Concert that take place each night out on the Caesars Forum Plaza, all of which are FREE to attend. — Cassandra Stock, ConvExx
Keep an Eye Out for Booth Renewal Notification
Emails with a link to renew your booth for the 2026 SHOT Show will be sent out NEXT WEEK. All exhibitors can renew their booth for the 2026 SHOT Show if they submit their rental agreement and pay the 25 percent deposit by the end of the 2025 show (January 24). You can only renew your current booth at this time. If you would like a booth change, you can make a request on the rental agreement. Change requests will be addressed during the spring, and space will be offered by membership status and priority points. All NSSF members get to choose before non-members, so if you are not a member consider joining NSSF today. — Chris Tatulli, NSSF
New Product Center: Big Traffic, Big Opportunity
Launching a new product at the SHOT Show? There is still time to have it featured in the New Product Center, one of the show’s most heavily visited locations each year by buyers and media. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity. You can reserve a spot in your Exhibitor Dashboard or complete this form and send it in. — Chris Tatulli, NSSF
Last Minute Hospitality Needs?
We all come to the realization at some point that we need to make a reservation for a large group and can’t find a place or the deposits and contracts are more than expected. If that’s you, we do have a partner that can help you out in these types of situations. Feel free to contact Jampack, a local company in Las Vegas with connections at all the major hospitality outlets in and around the Strip. You can find more information here. — Jeff Pressman, ConvExx
Still Time to Take Advantage of Digital Press Kits
Did you know more than 2,000 credentialed journalists have exclusive access to the SHOT Show Digital Press Kits site and they are looking for content from exhibitors like you? Take advantage of this unique opportunity to get noticed. You can upload up to three assets including press releases, logos, photographs and videos, along with your company’s profile and media contacts. Materials for multiple products can be uploaded and updated as well. The Digital Press Kit platform is easy to use, free, and adds value to your SHOT Show Marketing Package. This instructional video and how-to instructions help walk you through uploading your media assets. — Bill Dunn, NSSF
Sending Any Materials to the Show—Regardless of Carrier—Use the Shipping Labels
Regardless of how you are shipping your materials to the show, it is vital that you use the shipping labels in the Exhibitor Resource Center as these are used to ensure the crates or skids are delivered to the appropriate booth and makes it easier to find them should they be misplaced somewhere at the facility. We also recommend that you number the shipping containers in an order that will assist you with installation of your booth. We do not recommend labeling the outside of the shipping container with specifying its contents, as it may just lead to potential theft or loss should those contents be attractive to others. Unfortunately, that is something we all need to keep in mind when labeling and marking our freight. — Jennifer Carr, ConvExx
