After-Hours Networking Events Building Momentum
Buyers, media and other SHOT Show badgeholders are all purchasing networking packages for after-hours events around Vegas during the SHOT Show, all adding up to more opportunities than ever to connect with customers and the overall community. You can find these packages in your Exhibitor Registration dashboard when you register your personnel for badges. If you want to purchase for team members, you can do so when registering for their badges. If you want to purchase for customers, feel free to reach out to our partners at Jampack and they can assist you with any of your SHOT After Dark questions at wegotyou@jampack.com. — Jeff Pressman, ConvExx

Vehicle in Your Booth?
Are you planning to showcase products in your camouflaged truck, Jeep or tank this year? If so, the Clark County Fire Department requires a “Liquid or Gas-Fueled Vehicles or Equip in Assembly Area” permit for all booth vehicles. SHOT Show management will apply for a “Blanket Permit” for all exhibitors that want to display a vehicle in their booth, free of charge. To be part of the Blanket Permit, please submit the Vehicle Display Form by this Thursday, November 17.Please click here to complete the form. If you do not make the deadline, you must apply for the permit directly with Clark County Fire Department and pay the applicable fees. For more information, contact Exhibitor Services at permits@shotshow.org or call 702-216-5846. — Jennifer Carr, ConvExx
Poachers and Scammers Continue to be Relentless
Unfortunately, we continuously see—and receive—bogus solicitations for attendee lists (even putting our logo on it), hotel rooms dramatically discounted, show dailies distributed in all hotels and throughout the Strip (which isn’t permitted), and even a TV program pretending to have access to the show (but they won’t be there). If it is too good to be true, go with your gut and don’t pursue or even acknowledge it. If you are unsure if something is legit, feel free to email exhibitorhelp@shotshow.org and ask us. We want to avoid you getting taken as much as you. It doesn’t benefit anyone to have these people take advantage of our community. — Chris Dolnack, NSSF
Do You Work with a Booth Builder or EAC That Helps Onsite at the Show?
Please make sure your EAC not only completes the required paperwork, but reviews all the information that pertains to third-party contractors that help you at the SHOT Show. Avoid any issues onsite by being fully prepared before arriving in January. Please have them review the section of the Exhibitor Appointed Contracts (EAC) in the Exhibitor Resource Center, and most specifically, have them complete the EAC Agreement & Application. — Jennifer Carr, ConvExx
Need a VISA to Attend SHOT Show?
